Issue #007
Welcome to Issue #007 of the /dev/stdout newsletter. Over the past few months, I’ve been preparing to move back to Helsinki after more than six years in Berlin. Between that and a full schedule of customer work, my focus was entirely consumed, leaving me with no time to write this newsletter sooner. Thank you for your patience!
Regardless of the move, the general objective for writing the newsletter remains the same. So does my work helping customers solve their business challenges, often with a little tech help.
In recent months, I have been helping a Dutch company improve its developer experience. I will also be helping a Finnish company as a fractional CTO and another one as an advisor at the beginning of their Kafka journey. Exciting times ahead!
In the future, you can expect me to publish the newsletter again with a phase of 1-2 issues per month.
Thank you Berlin and looking forward to my next chapter in Helsinki. ✌️
Are you based in Helsinki and up for catching up? You know what to do!
That’s all for now—thanks so much for reading!
Best,
Pyry
P.S. While I wrote this post, I listened to this Helsinki electronic group. Go ahead and have a listen!
*You might wonder what the song recommendation has to do with anything. Well, as I often listen to music while I write, be it this newsletter, documentation, or code, I wanted to share some of that with you too. I hope you like them!
